Instagram the world’s most favourite photo sharing application is bringing many new features in recent time. Recently, the app has updated and bought features like Boomerang videos, mentions and links in the stories section. In the latest update, it brings features live video in stories and disappearing photos and videos in direct message.
Few days ago we updated that live video feature will come soon to the app, and today is the day is here. Instagram has rolled out the live video feature in its stories. The live video feature is similar to the Facebook as when someone goes live other friends get notification about the live video and can able to see a live badge under the profile, and we can interact with the video similar to the Facebook as we can comment and we can send heart. And after you’re done with the live video it will disappear from your stories.
To go live you to do following steps:
- Open the Instagram app.
- Swipe to right side to open the camera.
- Tap ‘Start Live Video’.
That’s it! You are good to go.
The second new feature of the latest update is called disappearing photos and videos from direct message. If you ever used Snapchat, then this feature will be familiar to you because disappearing photos and videos will allow you to send any of your photos and videos which you have taken via the app, and you can share it with your friend or group privately in direct message. Once it viewed by the other party the media will disappear from the conversation. Instagram will also give you notification, if the other party reopened or taken screenshot of your message.
Both the new features are rolling out to the users and it will take some time to reach all the devices. So, start checking the Play Store for the latest update.
