Intel has officially introduced the latest Intel Arc B580 and B570 GPUs and they are based on the Xe2 graphics architecture. It brings improvements in efficiency per core and the latest Intel GPUs are capable to offer up to 3.9 times better gaming performance in AAA titles than the previous-gen graphics cards. The newly announced Intel Arc B580 and B570 use second-generation Xe cores with high-performance XMX AI engines and the same is capable of accelerating AI-related tasks from large language models and other applications that have the power of artificial intelligence. The latest GPUs also have improved ray tracing performance and the new GPUs support XeSS Super Resolution which features AI-powered upscaling for 150+ games along with XeSS Frame Generation that brings interpolated frames using optical flow and motion vector reprojection and this will be improving fluidity in gaming. Both of them also feature improved Improved response time in games from user input.
It is also revealed that the latest Intel Arc B580 has up to 12GB of dedicated video memory, while the B570 features up to 10GB VRAM. Both GPUs can provide over 60fps in gaming at a 1440p resolution and support ray tracing. The Intel Arc B580 and B570 also feature the Xe Media Engine along with Intel’s AI Playground application and the same comes with features including text-to-image generation, chatbot customisation, photo editing, and more.
The company will be offering the Intel Arc B580 in a Limited Edition by Intel itself along with board partners Acer, ASRock, GUNNIR, ONIXX, MAXSUN, and Sparkle starting from December 13. It is priced at $249 while the Intel Arc B570 will be available from January 16, 2025, and it is priced at $219.
