Along with Qualcomm’s X20 LTE chipset, Intel has also reveals new LTE modem which will also give high speed network speeds. And with the announcement, the company also says that it is not sitting down and not allowing other competitors to take over it.
The Intel XMM 7560 is the new chipset revealed by the company, and it is the 5th product to support LTE network. The new chipset is supposed to handle download speed more than 1 Gbps and the upload speed upto 225 Mbps. The all new XMM 7560 also uses carrier aggregation.
The company says that the new processor will start sampling sometimes in the first half of 2017, which means this processor will also not be seen in any devices until 2018. Let’s wait for the new high speed modems and we hope that 2018 will be the year of high speed Internet because notes of new technologies are under process to give high speed data. And all are going to be revealed by 2018, anyways let’s hope for the best.
