After all the leaks and rumours, the tech giant Apple has introduced its new iPad Pro 2021 at the Apple Spring loaded Event and the new device is coming with the power of the M1 SoC, the device is coming in two different screen sizes and features Mini-LED Display, along with 5G and Thunderbolt Support. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out all the available details of the latest iPad Pro.

Specifications of iPad Pro 2021

The latest iPad Pro 2021 is coming in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes, and the 12.9-inch variant offers a Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED display and the same has over 10,000 LEDs, along with a 2732 x 2048 pixels resolution, and ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide colour support. It also features up to 1,600 nits peak brightness for HDR.

On the other hand, the 11-inch variant features Liquid Retina display with 2388 x 1668 pixels resolution along with ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide colour support. The variant also features HDR and Dolby Vision support.

The latest iPad Pro comes with 5G connectivity with support for mmWave in the US, and the same features eSIM card support for the cellular models.

It is powered by an in-house M1 chip and the same is paired 8GB of RAM with the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage models, and 16GB RAM on the 1TB and 2TB storage models. The device also features USB Type-C port Thunderbolt and USB 4, allows for 4 times the bandwidth for wired connections. It also features Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth v5 connectivity.

Talking about the camera department, iPad Pro 2021 features a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens (122-degree field of view, f/2.4 aperture) and the same features Center Stage which pans to keep the subject in the shot. It features two camera sensors on the back – 12-megapixel wide-angle with f/1.8 aperture + 10-megapixel ultra-wide with f/2.4 aperture and 125-degree field of view) along with a LiDAR scanner along with 2x optical zoom. The device also comes with Magic Keyboard and the second-generation Apple Pencil.

The device supports a 20W USB Type-C power adapter and the same features a four-speaker setup and five studio quality microphones.

Pricing and availability

The 11-inch variant is priced at $799 for the Wi-Fi model and $999 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. The 12.9-inch starts at $1,099 for the Wi-Fi model and $1,299 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. It will go up for pre-orders starting April 30 in 31 countries and regions, including India, and go on sale in the second half of May.
