The tech giant Apple unveiled the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max at the special event which was held at the Steve Jobs Theater. Well, this year the company implemented one of the most needed features, and that is the dual SIM ability, not only that many more improvements and new innovations. iPhone XS
It is the successor of the last year’s iPhone X, and the smartphone sports 5.8 inch OLED Super Retina display and has 2436 x 1125 pixels resolution along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and it has the notch on the top of the display, which is similar to the iPhone X. Moreover, it also features the Dolby Vision and that will offer wider colour gamut. The device is powered by Apple’s latest A12 Bionic 7nm chipset, and the Neural Engine now has an 8-core configuration to improve machine learning. The device is coming with three storage variants – 64 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.
It has dual camera setup at back and that’s in the combination of 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor (f/1.8 aperture) + 12-megapixel telephoto secondary sensor (f/2.4). It also has a 6-element lens and 2x optical zoom and TrueTone quad-LED flash. The device has a 7 megapixel front shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and it also features a new ISP, and it works with the neural engine to give the best-in-class photos, along with the new Smart HDR feature. Moreover, it has durable glass and has the IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. The device also has Face ID support to give the maximum layer of security.
For connectivity, the company has introduced dual SIM in this year, and this is for the first time, the device also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and lightning. The device runs on the latest iOS 12 and it is backed on 2,716 battery along with fast charging and wireless charging support.
iPhone XS Max
This device is coming with the same design and same specifications and the only difference is in the display size and the battery capacity, which means iPhone X5 Max is the larger variant of the iPhone X5. The device sports 6.5-inch OLED display which comes with a 2688 x 1242 pixel resolution and has aspect ratio is at 19:5:9 aspect ratio with the notch display design. The battery capacity is at 3,300 mAh capacity.
Talking about the pricing, the iPhone XS starts at $999 (approx. ₹71,843), and the iPhone XS Max starts at $1,099 (approx. ₹79,034). And the pre-orders will go live on the 14th of September with shipping beginning in select markets on the 21st of September and more markets will start receiving shipments by the 28th of the month.
