It is reported that the upcoming iQOO 16T smartphone will be coming with the power of the upcoming SM8950 flagship mobile processor and it is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 which is confirmed to be launched in September. It is also reported that the company is also testing the device with a Dimensity 9600 (DX6) processor as an alternative.
The upcoming device is reported to come with a built-in large cooling fan for improved thermal performance and the device is currently being tested with a 2K flat Samsung display.
