IQOO is the subsidiary brand of Vivo which in turn is a child of the BBK industry. When IQOO stepped into the country, they came up with a single device and was quiet for a long time. Now the company is back and is expected to launch multiple phones this year. It starts with the IQOO 7 Series and the company has finally launched it in the Indian market.
There are two devices in the Series – IQOO 7 and IQOO 7 Legend. These smartphones feature the latest chipsets from Qualcomm, great display, cameras and amazing build quality. For those of you who do not know, these smartphones are the rebranded versions of the IQOO Neo 5 and IQOO 7. Let us stop beating around the bush and dive straight into the specifications, pricing and availability of these smartphones.
IQOO 7 Specification

The newly unveiled smartphone features a 6.62-inch Samsung FHD+ AMOLED FHD+display with 2400×1080 pixels resolution and the same offers a punch-hole setup along with a 120Hz refresh rate, it also features an adaptive refresh rate as low as 30Hz. You will also get DC dimming, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 91.45% screen-body ratio. Moreover, it supports an instant touch sampling rate of 1000Hz and a touch report rate of 300Hz and the same also offers Super touch acceleration and the same features HDR10+, 105% of the NTSC gamut, and its SGS (Eyecare display) certified.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset and the same is paired with 8/12GB LPDDR4x RAM and the company offers memory Fusion and it can provide the 8GB to 11GB. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. iQOO 7 features the Multi-Turbo 5.0 and the smartphone supports an independent dual-core display chip for higher frame rates, you will also features linear motors for haptics with 4D vibration, along with Hi-Res Audio certified, the smartphone also has a built-in Game box mode, and dual-speakers.
Coming to the photography department, the iQOO 7 features a triple camera setup on the back and that’s in the combination of a 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX598 main lens with OIS, followed by a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome sensor. Upfront, the smartphone features a 16MP f/2.0 front camera. The camera department supports Raw HDR 2.0, Pixel shift UHD imaging, superb Night camera 5.0, super night portrait, HDR Panorama night mode, ultra-stable video with OIS, pro sports mode, cinema mode with 2.35:1 video format. The smartphone supports an in-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock and the traditional security options.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports NFC, GNSS, BeiDou, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, 5GHz Wi-Fi 6. The smartphone is backed by a 4,400mAh battery with 66W Flash Charge support and the same runs OriginOS based on Android 11. It will be available in Solid Ice Blue and Storm Black colours.
IQOO 7 Legend Specifications

The device also accommodates a 16-megapixel front facing camera. The device also coming with the in-display fingerprint scanner along with face unlock to provide an extra layer of protection.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It packs a total of 4000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support and the device is running runs on Android 11 with OriginOS for iQOO on top.
Pricing and availability
There will be three variants of IQOO 7 on sale. The 8GB + 128GB variant will be sold for ₹31,990, the 8GB + 256GB version will be sold for ₹33,990. Finally the maxed out 12GB + 256GB model will retail for ₹35,990. On the other hand, the IQOO 7 Legend with 8GB +128GB memory will be sold for ₹39,990 and the one with 12GB + 256GB combination will retail for ₹43,990. The IQOO 7 can be pre-ordered from May 1 via Amazon.com and iQoo.com.
