iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro were official in the market of China a couple of days ago and now we got a new piece of information that suggests the Chinese smartphone brand is all set to launch its new smartphone series in India. It is also revealed that the company will launch the devices in the country before the end of this month. According to the latest report of an Indo-Asian News service (AINS), iQOO CEO Nipun Marya has revealed that the newly announced iQOO 9 series will be official in the market of India very soon and the confirmation is coming after the announcement of the iQOO 7 Legend will be the official smartphone for the finals of the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS).
The semi-finals of the tournament are scheduled to start from January 7th and run till January 10th, and the final rounds of the tournament will start from January 13th.
There are rumours that say the company will launch its new smartphones in the country during the finals of the tournament.
iQOO 9
The latest smartphone features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ Samsung E5 OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device is also featuring a punch hole setup at the centre position of the screen. iQoo 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage
Speaking about the camera department, the latest iQoo 9 features a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a Samsung GN5 1/1.57 sensor that is also featuring optical image stabilisation (OIS), followed by a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field-of-view and a 12-megapixel camera for portrait images. The device is also featuring a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security. The smartphone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging and the device is running on Android 12 out of the box.
iQOO 9 Pro
The device features a curved 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ Samsung E5 10-bit LTPO 2.0 display with 3200 X 1440 pixels resolution along with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The smartphone comes with upto 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It is also coming with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 150-degree field-of-view, and a 16-megapixel portrait camera. At the front, iQoo 9 Pro features a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Everything remains the same as the vanilla variant.
