Just a couple of days ago, we updated that the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo announced its new sub-brand called iQOO and today we got a new report which says that the company may soon launch a foldable smartphone.
iQOO Foldable Smartphone
The photos of a smartphone of the new iQOO brand surfaced on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo and the images suggest that the device will be a foldable smartphone which converts into a tablet when he or she unfolds it. Going through the photos, the device can be used as a smartphone when it is folded and it can be used as the tablet when the device is unfolded.
The display of the device shows four icon columns on the screen and that gives us an idea of the overall setup of the upcoming device. The images suggest that there will be very small bezels at the front and there will be no holes for the selfie camera and this indicates that the company will implement the pop-up camera setup which is familiar with Vivo devices i.e. Vivo Nex.
Apart from the images, the information about the pricing details of the device also hinted and that suggests the device will be priced at CNY 5,000 which translate ₹53,000.
Having said that, there is no official word about the device. But we can expect that the company working on such type of device because this year is dedicated to the foldable device. As we are seeing lots of leaks and rumours of various brands about such type of smartphones. That said, the Samsung already confirmed to launch its long-awaited foldable device to unveil on February 20 along with the Galaxy S10 series.
