It is reported that the popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO is gearing up to launch its upcoming smartphone with a high-silicon battery and it will offer 5000mAh capacity along with 120W fast charging. The device which will be coming with the same is expected to be called the iQOO Neo 8. The company is expected to launch the same in the month of May this year.
The high-silicon batteries can offer efficient energy and reduce weight. We have seen this kind of battery in the Xiaomi 13 flagship smartphone.
Moreover, the upcoming iQOO Neo 8 is also extracted to eliminate the plastic frame and the company will be using a metal frame that will be durable and offer a premium look. It is reported that the upcoming iQOO Neo 8 series will be having the vanilla model and a Pro model. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, while the vanilla model is expected to arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip.
The smartphone series is also expected to arrive with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is also believed that the company will be offering the devices with a 1.5K display along with the support of high-frequency PWM dimming. The upcoming iQOO Neo 8 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, while the big brother of the smartphone series is expected to feature a 1/1.5-inch camera sensor.
