The popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO will launch the new iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones in the market of China on December 27 and we are hearing about the devices for the past few months on a daily basis. Today the company has confirmed the display specifications of the upcoming devices. So without making any further delay let’s get into the article to check out the full details.
It is officially confirmed that the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 series will feature a 1.5K resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate and 8T all-weather super-sensing screen that will be offering flagship-level LTPO technology. It is also revealed that the display of the devices can sustain 100 hours of continuous touch.
The company has also confirmed that the upcoming devices will feature a new dimming mode, chip-level smart eye protection 2.0, and the upcoming smartphone series has received SGS dual certification for low blue light and low flicker. It is said that the company will be releasing an OTA update in January to enable these features on the board.
It was previously confirmed that the upcoming devices will feature a self-developed e-sports chip Q1.
Based on the previous reports, both the upcoming devices will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display along with a 1.5K resolution. The upcoming devices are said to come with a large 5,160mAh battery along with 120W fast charging. Both smartphones are expected to come in LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage combinations and they will be available in the options including 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The vanilla variant is expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor while the Neo 9 Pro will come with the power of the Dimensity 9300 SoC.
It is also said that the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro will feature a 16-megapixel front camera while the back panel of the vanilla variant is expected to come with an OIS-enabled Sony IMX920 50-megapixel primary lens along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the other hand, the Neo 9 Pro might feature a dual 50-megapixel setup with an OIS-assisted Sony IMX920 for the primary lens and the Samsung JN1 for the ultra-wide lens.
The upcoming iQOO Neo 9 series is also said to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The devices will come with features including an IR blaster, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and a plastic middle frame for added durability. The devices will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
