iQOO which is the new independent brand and it came out from the wings of the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo, the company will operate in the market of India and it is already confirmed that the company will launch a new smartphone in India very soon. Most importantly, that particular device will support the fifth generation telecommunication network i.e. 5G and the irony here is the country is yet to adopt the 5G connectivity and it is expected that India will get the 5G by next year.
Anyways, today iQOO has teased its upcoming 5G enabled smartphone in India and the company shared an image with the brand logo along with the ‘coming soon’ tag and the smartphone is expected to be available in the market this month. However, we have a piece of interesting information and that is the Indian Cricket Team Skipper Virat Kohli is already using the iQOO 5G phone.
According to the RevAtlas, King Kohli is already using the iQOO 5G smartphone and he is talking about the same via a new video which is based on a Tweet by ESPNcricinfo and in that particular image, we can see the Skipper is talking on a smartphone, (and the expression suggesting that Mrs. Kohli is not that happy at the other side 😜).
Coming back to our business, the guy who is behind the video says that the device could be the iQOO Pro 5G edition and the device was launched in the market of China in August last year. He is saying like this based on the design of the device which the skipper is holding in his hand. If this speculation turns out to true then we can see Virat Kohli as the brand ambassador of the iQOO. Well, that’s our guess, we have to wait for the official announcement of the device to know about the same.
