Vivo spin-off iQOO has unveiled its latest smartphone called iQOO Z1 and its the first smartphone to have the brand new MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ SoC at the heart. Having said that, this is not a new phone actually the same is rebranded version of the iQOO Neo 3 5G and comes with a new processor.
Specifications of iQOO Z1
The smartphone features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and the same sports punch hole setup, it also supports HDR 10+ as well as the same offers a 144Hz refresh rate, along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the latest Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC and paired with 6/8GB of RAM along with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Moving to the camera details, the iQOO Z1 rocks triple camera setup and the same is in the combination of a 48 MP primary sensor + 8 MP wide-angle lens + 2 MP macro sensor, the smartphone also features 16 MP front camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The camera department also supports Night View, Portrait, slow motion, time-lapse photography, professional mode, AR cute shot, short video, PDAF, and smart image recognition. The smartphone also supports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It also supports liquid cooling system and a professional gaming mode along with in-house Jovi digital assistant.
Regarding the connectivity options, the iQOO Z1 supports 5G, Dual 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. The smartphone runs Android 10 with the iQoo UI 1.0 on top and the same packs on 4,500 mAh battery with 44W Super FlashCharge technology.
Pricing and availability
The 6GB RAM and 128GB variant is priced at CNY 2,198 while 8GB RAM costs CNY 2,498. And the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 2,798.
