The popular telecom company Jio has announced a limited-period offer for its JioBharat feature phones to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the company in the country.
The company has announced a special deal which bundles a 4G handset with six months of connectivity benefits and it is also claimed to be aimed at users in the country who still use 2G phones.
Apart from the benefits like calls and data, JioBharat phones give users access to entertainment, digital payments and family connectivity features. The company has said that the eligible JioBharat 4G phones are available for Rs. 1,499 under the anniversary offer.
It is worth mentioning that the company is yet to reveal the exact model of the device. The company will be offering 14GB of data each month and the offer comes with applicable terms and conditions.
The JioBharat devices support UPI payments through JioPay, along with payment alerts and Sound Box functionality. The company has said that the specifications include a 2.4-inch display, a 2,000mAh battery and 4G connectivity, match those of the JioBharat B1 and JioBharat B2 devices.
