After the testing of three years, the Jio Fiber is now official. Mr. Mukesh Ambani has announced the commercial availability of the service at the 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Limited. The company will start the service on September 6, let’s check out the complete details of the Jio Fiber.

The company will offer the service on September 5 and the plan will be priced at ₹700 to ₹10,000 per month, that means the company offering its service for everyone with various plans. That’s not all, users of the Jio Fiber will get unlimited free voice calls to any Indian number and this will be available forever.
Furthermore, the company also delight the users with the Jio Fiber Welcome Offer, and the users who go with the annual plans which is dubbed as Jio Forever Plans, will get an HD LED or 4K TVs and a 4K set-top box for free of cost. And the box claimed to be designed to accept TV signals from LCO partners. It will also offer online multiplayer gaming in 4K and has support for most gaming controllers. Reliance has joined its hand with Microsoft, Tencent Games, Gameloft, RIOT Games, Milestone and more to delight gamers.
Speaking about the plans, the company will start its plans from 100 Mbps, and that will go up to 1 Gbps, the company also announced that currently the Jio GigaFiber is in 5 lakh homes on a pilot basis. It has received 15 million registrations for its Fiber home broadband service, and that is targeted to reach 20 million residences and 15 million business establishments across 1,600 towns.
Regarding the fixed-line international calling, the default tariffs on the Jio Home phone will cost from a fifth to a tenth of existing industry tariffs, said the company. Having said that, Reliance also announced the unlimited international calling pack for calls to US and Canada for ₹500.
The plans will come bundled with subscriptions to most premium OTT applications. You can watch new movies with premium Jio Fiber and that will offer movies the same day they are released. The service is called Jio First-Day-First-Show, which will be launched in the middle of 2020.
Reliance has also introduced a mobility service called Jio Postpaid Plus. It will offer priority SIM set-up service at home, family plans with data sharing, international roaming, and phone upgrades at preferential rates. The company will also offer VR content, Multiparty Video Conferencing for free.
