The date from when Jio has started their services, many people who literally don’t use smartphones also wanted to have free calls with Jio SIM in their feature phones. Now seems like there wish is going to become true. Few months ago an image of a Jio feature phone was spotted online, as you can see from the image below. But we haven’t got any more information about it. Now today we have a report which says that Jio will launch 2 new feature phones under the Lyf branding, not Jio.
According to this report, Jio will soon launch these two feature phones with VoLTE support that will help in making good quality as well as free Jio voice calls. The lower-end phone is said to be powered by Spreadtrum processor and the higher-end variant to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 processor. But we have some more leaks of a 3rd model. Yes, there will be a 3rd Lyf feature phone as well. Leaked specs of this phone are 2.4” display, VGA front camera, 512mb of RAM with 4GB of internal storage, and 2000mah battery. The price of one variant is rumoured to be INR 2,369 . We don’t know what processor will come with this phone, also is this the lower-end variant or high-end variant ? Maybe it will be placed in the middle of both Spreadtrum and Qualcomm processor.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. We hope that Jio will launch this phone soon as many people are waiting for this phone from a long time.
