Recently, India’s most favourite telecom operator Airtel introduced the Wi-Fi calling service across the country and it added many devices with the new functionality. Well, now to counter this Reliance Jio has launched the Wi-Fi calling service in India with 150 devices in the supported list.
Reliance backed telecom operator has announced that Wi-Fi service is available across the country for voice as well as video calls and it will be rolled out in a phased manner until January 16. The company will enable the new feature to all the users who have an active Jio plan and this feature can be used even they are not connected to a mobile network. Jio is offering the new Wi-Fi calling service for free of cost which means users can use the new feature without any additional charges.
The new Wi-Fi calling service will be handy for those who are living in a congested area where signals are not available at the preferred manner and this will allow them to make calls at a great quality.
