Reliance Jio, the newbie of the Reliance Industry is enjoying success and the company started Jio a couple of years ago and the same created an awesome response in the Telecom industry. Then the company entered into the mobile segment with the JioPhone and now we got a new piece of information which suggests that Reliance Jio is all set to launch its new laptop series and the upcoming device will be dubbed as JioBook. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out all the available information about the upcoming laptop of the company.
According to the latest information, Reliance Jio is working on a low-cost laptop and the same will be called the “JioBook” and the report also says that the upcoming laptop will be based on a forked Android build that could be dubbed JioOS, we can safely assume that the operating system will bring a suit of Jio apps.
The upcoming JioBook is also tipped to arrive with 4G LTE support and the source also claims that the company has joined its hand with the Chinese manufacturer Bluebank Communication Technology for building the upcoming JioBook. It is also said that the company is working on the laptop since September last year and the testing will continue till the first quarter of the year and the product validation test will happen in April this year.
We also have an image of the upcoming laptop and the same is a prototype and it suggests that the upcoming laptop will feature standard designing language.
Interestingly, the image shows a Windows key on the keyboard but it will not run on the Windows operating system and we are not sure the purpose for the same. The key may be placed there because the image is a prototype and in the final product, the company may remove the key and implement a new key which will offer a similar kind of performance.
It is expected that the upcoming JioBook has a display with 1,366×768 pixels resolution and the laptop will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, along with Snapdragon X12 4G modem. The laptop is believed to have 2/4GB of LPDDR4x RAM as well as 32/64GB of eMMC storage.
The source also claims that the upcoming JioBook will offer a mini HDMI connector, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It is also said to have a three-axis accelerometer and a Qualcomm audio chip.
