Reliance Jio is reportedly working on a new budget laptop and the device made its appearance online a couple of times as well. Now the device surfaced online once again with the information related to the pricing and the launching timeline. According to a Reuters report, the upcoming JioBook will be official in the country under ₹15,000. Reliance is joining its hand with Qualcomm and Microsoft for the upcoming laptop.
It is also reported that the upcoming JioBook laptop will be launched for enterprise customers later this month the device will be official commercially within next three months. It is worth mentioning that there there is no official confirmation about the same and we can take this information as a pinch of salt.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming laptop will be based on a forked Android build that could be dubbed JioOS, we can safely assume that the operating system will bring a suit of Jio apps.
The upcoming JioBook is also tipped to arrive with 4G LTE support and the JioBook is also said to feature standard designing language. The upcoming JioBook has a display with 1,366×768 pixels resolution and the laptop will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, along with a Snapdragon X12 4G modem. The laptop is believed to have 2/4GB of LPDDR4x RAM as well as 32/64GB of eMMC storage.
It is also believed that the device will offer a mini HDMI connector, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It is also said to have a three-axis accelerometer and a Qualcomm audio chip.
