Kingston launches DataTraveler 2000 USB 3.1 in India

USB drives the most important and most used device to carry our personal data from one place to another, and also to keep our valuable data safe in our hands. And keeping the security in mind Kingston has launched a new USB drive called DataTraveler 2000 USB 3.1 with PIN protection.

The Kingston DataTraveler 2000 supports USB 3.1 and it also has an alphanumeric Keyboard which will allow user to lock the drive with a word or number combination for easy to use PIN protection. The device also features hardware-based full disk AES 256-bit data encryption in XTS mode.

The newly launched is truly encrypted and no trace of the PIN is left on the system, it is also a FIPS 197 certified which will meet a frequently requested corporate IT requirement. The drive comes with a durable design that protects the drive from everyday handling and elements like dust and water. The drive is priced at ₹10,000 for 16 GB, ₹14,000 for 32 GB and ₹18,000 for the 64 GB version.
