Koo is the Indian version of Twitter and offers a similar experience, the app has developed by Aprameya Radhakrishna. The microblogging platform was introduced in March last year. Well, the platform is available on desktop along with Android and IOS platforms and the Koo is available in several Indian languages as it is designed for the users of the country. Having said that, the microblogging platform also won the Indian government’s Digital India AatmaNirbhar Bharat Innovate challenge last year.

Well, now Koo gets passport and it can now travel aboard, as the company has launched the service in Nigeria followed by a ban of Twitter by the government of Nigeria.

Moreover, it is also said that Koo will provide local language support in Nigeria as well, and this will definitely help more and more users to attract on the platform.

This is really great to know that an Indian service is expanding its reach to a new market and now it is to look whether the users of Nigeria will switch to Koo or they will stick on Twitter and use the platform using VPNs.
