Lenovo is all set to launch new gaming devices in the near future, including smartphones, tablets and laptops. Before the announcement of these new devices, the company introduced a new charger in the market.
Lenovo Legion 135W Charger is a high quality compact shaped charger from the brand for 2022 Legion branded gaming laptops that the company is set to launch soon. The adapter supports 135W of power, and the USB Type-C connector also supports Power Delivery 3.1.
For those unfamiliar, the USB-IF Association announced Power Delivery 3.1 last year, adding this new standard Extended Power Range (EPR) to increase the charging power of the charger from PD3.0 to a maximum of 100W to a maximum of 240W.
The company unveiled a new Legion branded gaming laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) earlier this month, and the brand’s upcoming 7000P and 9000P laptops will come with 135W USB-C PD charging support.
Currently, Lenovo has not announced pricing or availability details for this new Legion 135W PD 3.1 charger. However, as new laptops are expected to go on sale soon, this one will also go on sale in China in the coming weeks.
