The Chinese electronics giant Lenovo has unveiled its new laptops in its Lenovo ThinkBook series at CES 2022 and the company has introduced Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3, ThinkBook 13x Gen 2, ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+, and ThinkBook 16 Gen 4. Having said that, the company has also introduced three new desktop PC models and that is coming in its new ‘ThinkCentre neo’ series that includes ThinkCentre neo 7t, along with ThinkCentre neo 50s, and ThinkCentre neo 3a 24. The company has used the latest Intel Core processor inside its latest laptops and the company has also introduced its all-new products with amazing design and heavy specifications. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3
Let’s start with the latest Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 laptop, and the company has introduced the device with the power of the newly announced 12th Gen Intel Core ‘Alder Lake’ processors along with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The laptop is also paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
Speaking about the display department of the device, the device is featuring a 17.3-inch HD+ IPS LCD display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also featuring a secondary display and the same is having an 8-inch touch screen with 1280 X 800 pixels resolution and it also supports the stylus. That means this device will be handy for creators. The laptop is also featuring a 1080p infrared camera along with a shutter for privacy. Regarding the connectivity options. the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.1, four USB ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is also featuring a fingerprint scanner and it is also claimed that the device will offer a good battery and the device is running on Windows 11 out of the box.
Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 2
It is also powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core ‘Alder Lake’ processors along with Intel Iris Xe graphics. The device is coming with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage via dual slots. In terms of display, Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 2 features a 13.3-inch WQXGA display.
The laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.0, two Thunderbolt ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Lenovo has integrated the fingerprint scanner on the power button of the laptop.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ and ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+
Both the newly announced Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ and Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ feature 12th Gen Intel Core ‘Alder Lake’ at its heart along with Intel integrated graphics and the company also enables users to choose Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 discrete graphics as well. The devices are coming with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
Now let’s talk about the differences between the devices, Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ features a 14-inch 2.8K display along with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. On the other hand, the latest Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ is featuring a 16-inch 2.5K display and that is offering a 120Hz refresh rate along with up to 350 nits of brightness.
Both devices feature a fingerprint scanner and that is integrated into the power button. Regarding the connectivity options, the latest laptops support Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.0, two Thunderbolt ports, four USB ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, an SD card reader, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 7t and ThinkCentre neo 50s desktop PC models
Lenovo has also unveiled its latest ThinkCentre neo 7t and ThinkCentre neo 50s with the power of the latest 12th Gen Intel Core processors along with up to 128GB of DDR5 memory and up to 64GB of DDR4 storage.
ThinkCentre neo 7t is having up to 4TB of SATA storage, or 2TB of PCIe SSD storage, while the new ThinkCentre neo 50s supports up to 2TB of SATA storage, or 1TB of PCIe SSD storage.
Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 7t also features Intel Iris Xe graphics and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti discrete graphic that means users can select their favourite variant while the latest Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s has introduced with Intel Iris Xe graphics. Talking about the connectivity options, the devices are featuring Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, and there is no information about the other connectivity options.
Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 30a 24
Say hello to the latest all-in-one PC and the device is also powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel Core ‘Alder Lake’ album with Intel Integrated Graphics UMA. It is also paired with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of SATA or PCIe SSD storage.
Lenovo has unveiled the device with a 23.8-inch full-HD display and the same features a maximum brightness of 250 nits. It is also coming with HD+ infrared camera and the company has also introduced the latest Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 30a 24 features Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth 5.0 and we don’t have any other information about the connectivity of the device. All the devices are running on Windows 11 out of the box.
Pricing and availability
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 is priced at $1,399 and the same will go on sale from May 2022, while ThinkBook 13x Gen 2 is priced at $1,099 and the device will be available from April 2022. Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen 4+ and ThinkBook 16 Gen 4+ are priced at $839 and $859 respectively and the same will be available from April 2022.
Lenovo ThinkCentre neo 50s is priced at $799 and it will be available from March 2022, while ThinkCentre neo 30a 24 is priced at $1,069 and the device will be available from March 2022.
