LG Announces K8 (2018) And K10 (2018)

The South Korean electronics giant LG has expanded its K-Series portfolio with two new devices, and they are called LG K8 (2018) and LG K10 (2018). The company has said that both the devices will be launched at the MWC event, which is scheduled for next week.

Let’s start with K8 (2018), it Sports 5 inch HD In-Cell Display along with 1280 X 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.3 Ghz quad core processor and paired with 2 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device has 16 GB of internal storage and can be expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card.

Coming to the photography department, the device has 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with 5 megapixel front facing camera. The device has a fingerprint scanner for your security, and it also has 4G connectivity. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat v7.1.2, and it is backed on 2,500 mAh battery. Speaking of the colour choices, the device will be available in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Terra Gold.

LG K10+ (2018)

Now coming to the K10 (2018), it comes with 5.3-inch HD In-Cell Display along with 1280 X 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.5 Ghz octa-core processor, and paired with 2 or 3 GB RAM. The 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage variant is called K10 and K10α, and, the one that comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage is called K10+.

Moving to camera, it has 8 megapixel (K10α), 13 megapixel (K10, K10+) with LED flash along with 5 megapixel (K10α), 5/8 megapixel (K10, K10+) wide-angle camera front facing camera. The device has a fingerprint scanner for your security, and it also has 4G connectivity. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat v7.1.2, and it is backed on 3,000 mAh battery. Speaking of the colour choices, the device will be available in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, and Terra Gold.

Both the devices are coming with a unique feature, the K8 (2018) has features like Timer Helper and Flash Jump Shot. The features make things easier to capture photos by setting a timer by counting seconds by using the flash as visual aid, and, the next one allows you to create GIFs by taking photos and stitching them together. These features are also available on the K10 (2018) series smartphones. And the K10 (2018) also has a Smart Rear Key which apart from unlocking the phone, can also be used to quickly capture photos or screenshots.

As I mentioned above, that the company will officially unveil the device at the MWC event. So, let’s wait to get the availability details of the device at the official launch.
