Back in last week, the South Korean electronics giant LG announced its presence at the upcoming MWC 2019 event and we are also hearing about new LG devices with the company is planning to launch at the prestigious show in Barcelona. The company is planning to launch a 5G smartphone i.e. LG V50 ThinQ, along with a high-end flagship smartphone i.e. LG G8 ThinQ at the MWC 2019 event, but today we got a report which says that the company will launch the device ahead of the event.
According to the source, the smartphone brand will launch its first 5G device as the LG V50 ThinQ 5G and the device will come with 6 inch display along with 4,000 mAh battery but didn’t mention about the support for the wireless charging or fast charging. The source also claims that the device will be powered by the latest and greatest 855 processor and it will also come with vapour chamber cooling system, that will cool the device.
The report also says that the device will come with the new user interface and that will allow users to carry out their tasks such as music controlling with hand gestures and the company teased this in its official invite for the MWC event. The source also says that the company will make the device available in North America and Europe in March and it will be available via four carriers viz. SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+ in the domestic market while Sprint will handle in the United States. The source also suggests the pricing, LG’s upcoming 5G smartphone will reportedly be priced between KRW 1.3 million (approx. ₹83,000) and KRW 1.5 million (approx. ₹98,800).
That’s not all, the source also says that the company will launch the LG G8 ThinQ smartphone along with the LG V50 ThinQ 5G on February 24 ahead of the MWC 2019, and it also says that the company will not launch more devices in the G series after the upcoming LG G8 ThinQ, as the company wants to merge with LG G series and LG V series for the flagship devices.
