Back in September, the South Korean electronics brand LG unveiled LG G8X ThinQ with dual-screen accessory and now the company has launched it in the market of India. The device sports a 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display and it has a waterdrop-shaped notch on the top of the display. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, and matted with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128 GB onboard storage and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the LG G8X ThinQ rocks dual-camera setup and that’s in the combination of a 12-megapixel primary camera sensor along with a 13-megapixel secondary shooter with super wide-angle lens. There’s also a 32-megapixel front camera. The camera department also features AI Action Shot helps speed up the shutter speed up to 1/480s to capture fast-moving objections. LG has also added improved video stabilization.
It runs LG UX 9.0 based on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box and the smartphone also features a new ASMR mode and that will allow to capture much more detailed audio. The smartphone has a 4,000 mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The phone also has two 1.2W speakers and features a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, tuned by Meridian Audio. Coming to the dual-screen of the device, it features a 6.4-inch full-HD+, it looks like a usual foldable smartphone. There’s a hinge which allows turning the display to a full 360-degree. It also has 2.1-inch monochrome OLED display on the outside, and that will provide key information such as time, date, battery status, notification markers, and more.
