We all know that for audiophiles a good smartphone is on flagship level only, the LG flagship smartphones that comes with a special Quad DAC which gives an immersive experience through earphones. But what about those who don’t have the budget of flagship smartphones but are keen towards audio. For those LG has launched it’s Q7 line-up which are perfect audio centric (only headphone jack centric) smartphones in mid-range segment.
The three smartphones launched under LG Q series are LG Q7, Q7a, and Q7+. As you can assume, the Q7+ is most powerful amongst all three and Q7a is least powerful, the Q7 sits in the middle as expected. Starting of with the display, all three has 5.5 inch of IPS LCD Full Vision display with Full HD+ 2160x108p resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. All three will either have an unknown Qualcomm’s 1.8Ghz or 1.5Ghz octa core processor. The Q7+ will have 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage and other two will have 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. All three variants will have MicroSd Card support. The Q7+ will have 16MP rear camera and 5 or 8MP front camera, the 5MP variant will have 100° wide angle view. Other two phones will have 13MP rear camera and 5MP 100° view front camera.
There is AI compatibility which will give AI based bokeh photos. Battery capacity is 3000mAh on all three smartphones along with Qualcomm’s unspecified fast charging support. all three runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The Q7 trio offers a military standard 810G body material and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Talking about the USP i.e. audio, the Q7 has HiFi audio feature with DTS:X 3D surround sound. The Q7+ has the dedicated Quad DAC feature, same as G and V series.
