In the New Year, brands are all set to launch their latest consumer electronics products. One of these companies is LG, which unveiled the lineup of 2022 OLED TVs during the CES 2022 event.
LG has announced the new screen sizes of OLED TVs to expand its G2 and C2 series. These new TVs come with a number of upgrades along with some new features. This includes newer multi-user profiles in webOS software for TVs. In addition, newer televisions will be shipped with a fifth-generation A9 processor that enables better 4K upscaling, better tone mapping, and better depth sense with foreground object enhancement.
In this year LG adds new screen sizes to fill its largest and smallest OLED TV sizes. Previously, the smallest OLED TV from the brand was the 48-inch model, but now, a new 42-inch OLED TV has been unveiled to fit in smaller spaces, which is part of the C series.
On the other hand, the largest OLED TV was the 83-inch 4K model and the 88-inch 8K model. Now, the company has released a 97-inch 4K model under its G series.
The new C and G series TVs offer full HDMI 2.1 support with 120Hz 4K gaming, variable upgrade rate, and auto low latency mode. Notably, LG also brings support for GeForce now, Google Stadiums cloud gaming services as well.
The new G2 OLED TVs will be available in 97-inch, 83-inch, 77-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch screen sizes. However, the C2 series now includes screen sizes of 83 inches, 77 inches, 65 inches, 55 inches and 42 inches.
