Meta has officially introduced its latest smart wearable dubbed the Meta Glasses and it is built in partnership with eyewear manufacturer EssilorLuxottica. It has a starting price of $299.
The company offers three distinct frame designs including the Adventurer which is a standard square frame available in two sizes, while the Fury offers a thicker, heavier build. Both start at the $299 base price. The company is also offering the Starfire, and it is designed in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. This frame features a slim oval design and it has a price tag of $399.
You can able to adjust nose pads, and you will not get any displays in the lenses. It depends on built-in cameras, open-ear speakers, and a multi-mic array for phone calls, wind noise reduction, and voice commands. The device can offer up to 40 hours of battery life with the charging case.
The frames ship with Muse Spark, a new multimodal AI model which is also developed by Meta that would enable you to trigger the assistant via a dedicated physical action button to ask questions. The device also supports a dynamic photo burst mode to help users capture better hands-free images and plans to roll out audio-based pedestrian navigation for turn-by-turn directions soon.
You can able to purchase the device through the official website along with Amazon, Best Buy, and select eyewear retailers like LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut.
