Meta, the parent company of the social media giant Facebook is reportedly trying to enter to expand its reach in the social media platform and the same will give strong competition to Twitter.
Meta is reportedly developing a new social media application which is codenamed P92 and the same will enable users to post text-based updates which is entirely different from Facebook or Instagram.
It is reported that Meta is exploring a decentralised social network for creators and public figures to share timely updates about their interests, and the same is similar to Twitter. It is also said that the upcoming platform will enable users to log in through their existing Instagram account details. It is another positive implementation as it is not asking you to create a new account on the upcoming platform.
The upcoming platform is also said to going under the legal and regulatory teams investigating potential privacy concerns. But we don’t have any information about the releasing date of the platform.
