Speaking about the pricing, Meta Verified offers a blue checkmark on their Instagram and Facebook accounts for up to $15 per month. The service is priced at $11.99 per month on the web or $14.99 on iOS. It is also said that the company will ask government-issued ID cards to verify the identity of a user.
It is also said that the new subscription service will offer “increased visibility and reach,” enhance protection against impersonation attacks and provide subscribers with direct access to customer support. It is confirmed that the service will be rolled out in New Zealand and Australia this week and the same will be extended to more parts of the world very soon.
