Few days back we posted that Xiaomi will unveil there own processor on 28th February. In the article we informed that Xiaomi’s next phone Mi5c might be the 1st device to run on there Pinecone processor. Now today we have our 1st leak of Xiaomi Mi5c. Just yesterday Mi5c was spotted on GFXBench revealing some of it’s specs. So let’s have a look at those specs.
As you can see from the image below, Mi5c will run on latest Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box with MIUI on top. It’s not mentioned there that which version of MIUI will be there but we think that it will run on MIUI 8 as Xiaomi may unveil there new MIUI 9 with Mi6. This phone will run with an octa core processor with Cortex A53, four cores are clocked at 2.1Ghz and other power efficient four cores are clocked at 1.4Ghz with Mali T860 GPU. This configuration sounds same as what earlier rumour suggested about the Two Pinecone processors. The configuration of lower clocked variant of Pinecone processor name as V670, is exactly same as Mi5c’s processor.
Now coming back to the specs, Mi5c will sport a 5.5” Full HD 1080p Display with support of at least 5 simultaneous touches. There will be 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will have a 12MP Rear Camera and an 8MP front facing camera. It will also have all the basic sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensor.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. We might expect the launch of Mi5c on 28th February along with the launch of Pinecone processor. But as of now there aren’t much leaks about the phone as maybe it will launch by next month. Till then a lot more rumours will pop out, so stay tuned with us for more information.
