As promised, Micromax has launched its new smartphone in the market of India and it is called Micromax In 1 which is coming with a big display along with a massive battery and a clean and pure Android experience. The company has launched the smartphone with an affordable price tag and offers a nice designing setup as well. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out the complete details of the newly launched Micromax smartphone.

Designing setup of the smartphone

Micromax has launched its new smartphone with a curved back and has a metallic finish with an X pattern on the back. It accommodates the square camera module at the top left corner along with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and we can also see the branding of the device. It also features a punch-hole on setup on the top of the screen and that is pretty small.

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and it also features a 20:9 aspect ratio, it is also coming with a 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 400 nits peak brightness. The device also features L1 Widevine support which means you guys can able to play HD content on Netflix, Prime Video, and other OTT platforms.

Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC and that is paired with 4/6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone will available with 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage and also enable users to expand the storage via microSD card (up to 256GB) and you will also get a dedicated slot.

Speaking about the camera department, the Micromax In 1 features a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, along with a 2-megapixle sensor for depth of field, and a 2-megapixel macro camera sensor. On the front, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Both the rear and front camera supports night mode photography. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back along with the traditional security options.

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, dual-VoLTE, dual-VoWiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Micromax is offering the smartphone with a massive 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and the company will offer the charger inside the box.

The device will run on the Android 10 operating system out of the box and the company promises to deliver software updates for the next two years and that means your users will get two major Android updates and it is also confirmed that the Android 11 will be served on the device in the month of May this year. It is worth mentioning that Micromax offers its smartphone without any bloatware or advertisements.

Pricing and availability

The 4GB RAM + 64GB variant costs ₹10,499 and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration costs ₹11,999. Micromax In 1 will be available for purchase starting March 26 at 12pm via Flipkart and the Micromax website. The smartphone will be available with a discounted price of ₹9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and ₹11,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant during the first sale of the device.
