Microsoft has revealed a new Xbox stereo headset in the Indian market. Microsoft had recently launched a wireless headset in collaboration with Bang and Olufsen. The new Xbox stereo headset is wired and supports spatial sound technologies including Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X. The spatial sound technology on the device helps in deliver high-quality sound output. The Xbox stereo headset also provides an immense gaming and realistic experience.
The Xbox stereo headset has a lightweight, flexible design and an adjustable headband with cushions along the surface. The headset is facilitated with ultra-soft large ear cups intended for comfort during long play sessions. Users can adjust the volume by twisting the dial on the right ear cup. However, it does not have the chat or game audio mixing dial on the left ear cup like in the other models of the company. In addition to this, the new Xbox headset has a mute button on the backside of the microphone which can be used when the sound is not required. Moreover, the new device does not require batteries for connection. It connects directly to the Xbox wireless controller or other devices through the 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of price and availability, the Xbox stereo headset will be available for pre-order from Microsoft Store, Amazon and Flipkart soon. Now it has not been listed on either of these sites. As per the source, the new headset is set for release on September 21 and it will cost Rs.5,990 in the Indian market.
