Malwarebytes has revealed that millions of devices are hacked to mine cryptocurrency illegally. Mobile devices are being used by hackers to get cryptocurrency without user concern. Hackers hack Android devices via a malicious ad redirect scam. The process is not clear here, but according to Malwarebytes users will be downloading the infected apps which redirects them to the website and to stop this mining, users will have to use valid Captcha code.
The report says that users stay at the site for nearly 4 minutes and in total for a month, this would be solid enough to mine some huge cryptocurrency. Malwarebytes suggest s to download from a trusted source only, We suggest our readers the same and be prepared with some filters and security softwares and most important is always use Play Store to download apps or games instead of cheap app stores.
