Xiaomi expects the MIUI 13 to be unveiled in the coming days. Prior to that, the company had already unveiled most of the upcoming changes via weekly MIUI beta builds. Now, even the logo of the next major version of MIUI is unveiled before the official announcement of the software.
Two weeks ago, the MIUI logo in the Software Update section was changed to indicate ‘under construction’ status. A few days after that, Xiaomi has now started bundling the new MIUI 13 logo with some of its system apps.
Xiaomi confirms that this logo is actually official. This is why images of the logo appear inside applications signed by Xiaomi itself.
As for the logo, it looks like it has a new font, which is a little different from the previous one. The new logo and font are more curved than the old MIUI 12 logo and font. In other words, the changes are subtle.
All these recent developments related to MIUI indicate that the launch of Xiaomi MIUI 13 may be announced soon. It will most likely make its debut through the Xiaomi 12 Series.
Xiaomi is expected to fix MIUI 12 issues with MIUI 13. Although the company has tried to alleviate some of these issues with the MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 12.5 enhanced versions, there is still much to be done.
