Motorola is gearing up to launch its new smartphone in the global market and the device will be called the Moto Edge 40, and it will arrive with its big brother called the Moto Edge 40 Pro. Both devices appeared online several times and now the detailed press images of the vanilla model appear online along with the information related to the pricing. According to the new leak, the upcoming Moto Edge 40 smartphone will feature a subtly curved back along with a squircle-shaped camera module and the same is accommodating two sensors and one of the rings being noticeably larger than the other.
The device is coming with a curved design along with a waterdrop notch on the top of the screen and the upcoming Moto Edge 40 is reported to arrive with a price tag of $650 for the base 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage option.
It is also reported that the device will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will arrive with the power of the upcoming Dimensity 8020 chipset along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The device will be housing a 4,400mAh battery with 68W TurboPower charging and 15W wireless charging.
The device will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The device will also feature a 32-megapixel front facing camera. The device will be running on Android 13 out of the box and it will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
