Moto Edge X30 was announced in the month of December last year and it was the first smartphone with the power of the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor. We are hearing about the special edition of the smartphone called the Moto Edge X30 Under Screen Edition, as the name suggests the device will feature an in-display front camera and the company added fuel to the fire of the excitement by sharing an image of the retail box of the smartphone a couple of weeks ago. Now the company has officially revealed that the device will be announced next month.
Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China’s Mobile Phone Business department has revealed that the Moto Edge X30 Under Screen Edition will be launched next month in the market of China but he did not reveal the exact launching date of the device.
Apart from the front facing camera setup, it is expected that everything will be the same as the standard version and that means the upcoming device is likely to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution along with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 576Hz touch sampling rate. The device also features a punch hole set up at the centre position of the screen and it is coming with 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, along with HDR10+. It is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset along with Adreno GPU for the graphical task. The device is also coming with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
Speaking about the software, the device is running on the latest version of the Android Operating System out of the box and that is Android 12 OS with MyUI 3.0 clean stock UI on top. The device is also coming with a massive 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
Talking about the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Now let’s talk about the camera department of the Moto Edge X30, the latest Motorola flagship smartphone has triple cameras on the back and that is in the combination of a 50MP primary OV50A40 sensor with f/1.88 aperture, along with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP sensor. The front camera is another highlighting element of the smartphone, the company features a 60MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
