Motorola has introduced two new devices in its very popular Moto G series dubbed the Moto G 2026 and Moto G Play 2026. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details of both Motorola phones.
Everything about Moto G 2026 and Moto G Play 2026
Both devices come with a 6.7-inch display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and the company is offering the Play model with 5G connectivity for the first time.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Moto G 2026 features a 50-megapixel main sensor with Quad Pixel processing and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. While the Play variant comes with a 32-megapixel rear shooter and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The devices also support AI features including the AI Night Vision and auto-smile detection, among others. Both devices come with a 5,200mAh battery. The Moto G 2026 supports 30W wired charging, while the Play features 18W. Both devices come with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front and IP52 water resistance.
Unfortunately, the company did not reveal details about the processor but both devices are confirmed to run on the latest Android 16, the devices will also come with Google Gemini tools.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Moto G 2026 will be available for $199.99 in the U.S. starting December 11, first through Motorola’s website and later through major retailers and carriers.
While the Moto G Play 2026 launches earlier, on November 13 with a price tag of $169.99, and the device will be available across multiple retail and carrier channels.
