Motorola launched the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at MWC last month. Few days back they announced the launch date of Moto G5 Plus in India. Now today finally Motorola made the Moto G5 Plus official in India. This phone is a camera centric phone but other specs also looks quite good. So let’s have a look at those specs.
This Moto G5 Plus sports a 5.2” Full HD IPS LCD Display having 424 PPI covered with Gorilla Glass 3. It has a metal body with splash proof design. It has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 octa core processor clocked at 2.0Ghz built on 14nm FinFet manufacturing process with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 3GB/4GB RAM & 16GB/32GB internal storage with expandable memory upto 256GB. It has dual SIM support with dedicated SD card slot, so there’s no hybrid SIM card slot. It’s 7.7mm thick and weights at about 155gm. It has 3000mah battery with turbocharge technology.
As the processor is built on 14nm process, the battery should not be the issue. Regarding the software, it will run on Android 7.0 nougat out of the box with Google Assistant, Moto Display and Moto Action.
Now coming to the USP of this phone, the camera. This Moto G5 Plus has 12MP dual autofocus pixel rear camera with large f1.7 aperture and dual tone LED flash. It has the same Sony IMX260 sensor which the current Samsung Flagship, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge also has. The front facing camera is a 5MP shooter with wide angle lens and f2.2 aperture.
Now coming to the price, the 3GB/16GB variant is priced at Rs.14999 and 4GB/32GB variant is priced at Rs.16999 . There will be 2 colour options, Lunar Grey & Fine Gold.
