Lenovo’s Motorola brand has introduced a new smartphone in China. The device dubbed the Moto G71s is a product of collaboration between the brand and China Mobile. A closer look at the Moto G71s shows that the device is no different from the Moto G82 5G. Perhaps, this is the G82 5G in the Chinese market.
The Moto G71s feature the same design as the Moto G82 5G, but with a few higher features. The G71s has a 6.6-inch OLED screen, FHD + resolution and support for 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with support for 100% NTSC color gamut, 5,000,000: 1 high contrast ratio, HBM Sunlight screen, and Global DC dimming, and is protected by SGS Double-Eye certification.
The handset comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM while having 128GB of internal storage. Note that the G82 5G is only available with 6GB RAM option. The device comes with two functional optimizations: One-Key Touch, Simple Mode, and others designed for the elderly.
The new Moto G71s packs a triple rear camera design arranged vertically in the top left corner of the rear panel. The camera design gives a certain degree of beauty to the device with an accent ring for each sensor.
The main sensor is a 50MP shooter that supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and four-in-one pixel binning. The camera is supported by an 8MP 121 super wide angle sensor and a 2MP 4cm macro. The device supports image functions such as super image quality and Vlog dual scene shooting. There is a 16MP front camera with a 105 field-of-view embedded under the punch hole.
The Moto G71s comes with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support which is slightly higher than the 30W fast charging support of the G82 5G. Additionally, it packs a pair of Dolby Atmos speakers and features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded under the power button. For the interface, the premium mid-range device runs on Android 12 based MYUI 3.0 OS.
The Moto G71s comes in two colors – Meteorite Black and White Lill. It priced at 1699 Yuan ($ 252). This is a lot less than the € 329.99 price for the G82 5G with a similar configuration.
