It is officially announced that the upcoming Moto G96 will launch in India on July 9th at 12 PM and it will be available via Flipkart. The device looks similar to the Moto Edge 50 Fusion and the device features a left-oriented vertical dual rear camera setup.
The camera module of the device is slightly elevated from the rest of the body. The sides of the device are slightly curved, and the device comes with a central punch hole.
It will be available in Pantone 646 C (a shade of blue), a cyan blue variant, a magenta variant and a green colour options. The device will also feature IP68 dust and water resistance and the device will support Water Touch that you will enable you to use the device with your wet hands.
The device is confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour gamut, Color Boost support, 1600 nits brightness, SGS eye protection, and the display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
It will come with the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile processor and the device will feature a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C main camera with OIS. It will also come with Moto AI-based features. Based on the previous reports, the device will house a large 5,500mAh battery along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage with microSD card expansion support. The device is also expected to feature an 8MP secondary ultrawide camera and a 32MP selfie camera. The device is also expected to run on the Android 15 operating system out of the box.
