Motorola has officially introduced new models of its flip folding devices including the Moto Razr 70, Razr 70 Plus, and Razr 70 Ultra. The new Moto Razr 70 and Razr 70 Plus are powered by the Snapdragon 8 series chipsets, while the Moto Razr 70 has the power of the MediaTek mobile processor. Let’s start with the pricing and availability details, the Ultra variant is priced at $1,499.99 and it will be available for purchase in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region in the coming months. The device is available in Pantone Cocoa and Pantone Orient Blue colour options. While the Plus and the Moto Razr 70 cost $1,099.99 and $799.99 respectively. The Plus model is offered in Pantone Mountain View shade, while the vanilla variant is available in Bright White, Hematite, Sporting Green, and Violet Ice. Both devices will be available in Europe, the Middle East, and the African region in the coming months.

Coming to the specifications, the devices run on the latest Android 16 with Hello UI. Motorola has promised to deliver up to three years of OS updates and up to five years of security updates. The Moto Razr 70 Ultra and the Plus variant feature 4-inch cover displays along with up to 165Hz of refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. While the vanilla variant features a 3.6-inch cover display.
The Ultra variant features a 7-inch 10-bit LTPO Extreme AMOLED foldable display, with up to a 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, 22:9 aspect ratio, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. While the Plus and the vanilla variants feature 6.9-inch 10-bit LTPO Extreme AMOLED foldable screens with up to 3,000 nits peak brightness. The Plus variant offers up to a 165Hz refresh rate while the vanilla variant comes with up to 120Hz of refresh rate.
Motorola has introduced the Ultra variant with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite along with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. While the Plus variant has the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip along with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Finally, the Moto Razr 70 has the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X chipset along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the Moto Razr 70 series features a dual camera system on the outside that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel main shooter along with a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. On the inside, the Ultra model also features another 50-megapixel camera, placed inside a hole-punch display cutout. The Plus and vanilla models feature 32-megapixel cameras on the inside. The devices are capable of recording videos at up to 1080p/30 fps.
The Ultra variant houses a 5,000mAh battery with 68W (wired), 30W (wireless), and 5W (wired reverse) charging.
