Motorola has officially showcased its latest Moto Signature 27 smartphone at the Snapdragon Summit 2026 and it is one of the first devices to come with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. The device also features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The company did not reveal majority of details about the device. Motorola is yet to confirm the pricing and availability details of the device and it is expected to be available globally later this year. The device is confirmed to be available in Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green color options. The former features a woven texture while the latter features a brushed, textile-inspired finish.
It is confirmed that the device has the power of the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile processor that means the device will be coming with impressive on-device AI capabilities, camera performance, gaming responsiveness, and faster download speeds.
The device also supports Motorola’s ArcticMesh cooling system and it includes diamond-infused thermal gel, liquid metal, and copper mesh with a redesigned 3D vapour chamber. It is confirmed that the device has 40% larger vapour chamber compared to the previous generation.
Motorola has confirmed that the new Moto Signature 27 features a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The company is also bringing its Video Enhancement Engine, which uses AI to analyse a scene before and during recording and adjust colour tones in real time.
The device also supports multiple AI features including Google Gemini along with Gemini Omni, which can turn prompts, photos or existing video footage into a finished video and Google’s Lyria to generate music and soundtracks.
It is expected to run on Android 17 and the company has promised to deliver seven years of OS upgrades. It is the first device of the company to come with Audio by B&O. Unfortunately, the company is yet to confirm details including the display, battery capacity, charging speeds, RAM, storage, and other specifications.
