Motorola has introduced its new flagship smartphone dubbed Moto X40 in the market of China and the device is coming with the power of the latest and greatest Snapdragon flagship mobile processor and it is running on Android 13 out of the box. The device is also featuring a high refresh rate display as well. The newly announced Moto X40 smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display along with an FHD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also featuring a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and curved edges. The display features 10-bit colours along with HDR support. The device is also coming with an in-display fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
Speaking about the camera department, the newly announced Moto X40 features a triple rear camera setup on the back panel and the same comprises a 50MP main sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. It is also featuring a 60MP front-facing sensor. The camera department of the device is also supporting 4K HDR video recording and the same is also coming with a capability of a horizontal lock feature while clicking action scenes.
The latest Moto X40 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is also featuring a three-dimensional liquid cooling set up as well.
It is IP68-certified dust and water-resistant and the device is also coming with stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The smartphone is backed by a 4,600mAh battery along with 125W wired and 15W wireless charging and it is running on Android 13 with MY UI 5.0 skinned on the top.
Regarding the connectivity options, the latest Motorola flagship smartphone supports dual SIM, 5G, WiF 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
In terms of pricing and availability, the Moto X40 pricing starts at RMB 3,399 and it is available in the market of China. There is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
