As we know the Lenovo owned Motorola has an event at the upcoming MWC event, and it is expected that the company will reveal Moto G5 and G5 Plus along with the Moto Z (2017). Last week, we got some details about the specifications of Moto Z (2017). And now we got a report, it says the device will feature an Iris scanner.
According to the source, the Moto Z (2017) may come with Iris scanner as the company files for the patent. The Iris scanner is not a new, as we have seen the technology in last year’s Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Iris scanner is like a fingerprint scanner, it is a bio-metric system which helps you to secure your device.
From the patents, we can see the Iris scanner will rely on two narrow angle lenses to scan eyes of a user. It also hints that the device sporting fingerprint scanner on front, instead of housed on a physical button.
Anyways let’s wait for the launch of the device, and as we know there is plenty of time for the event, we can expect more leaks of the device.
