Lenovo’s sub-brand Motorola has unveiled its latest smartphone called Moto Z4, the device is launched after lots of leaks, rumors and even after goes on sale via Amazon even before it was unveiled officially. The device is coming with its signature mark Moto Mod support and many more cool specifications. Specifications of Moto Z4
The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, it also has a waterdrop notch. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and paired with 4GB RAM along with Adreno 608 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 2TB via MicroSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Moto Z4 doesn’t have a dual camera setup at the back, it features single rear camera setup, and that’s a 48-megapixel camera that has an f/1.7 aperture, a pixel size of 1.6-microns, and produces 12-megapixel images. It has PDAF and laser autofocus, apart from correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash. On the front, the Moto Z4 has a 25-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 0.9-micron pixel size. It also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor. Along with a pogo pin connector as an interface for Moto Mods, which is the signature of Motorola Z series.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C. The company launched the device with single SIM support but we expect that it will support dual SIM cards in other markets such as India. The smartphone runs on Android 9 and packs on 3,600 mAh battery with the company’s 15W TurboPower fast charging tech.
Pricing and availability
The smartphone is priced at $499, and the smartphone will be available in USA and Canada. It is now available for pre-order in the market of the United States and it will go on sale from June 6. Having said that, the Canadian market will get the device only after this summer. And for the Moto Mod, you have to pay an extra $200, and that will give access the next-gen networks. There is no other information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world but we expect that the company will launch the device in India around the end of July.
