Motorola launches three new Moto mods in India

Last year Motorola launched the Moto Z series smartphones with an assurance of continuous modular support for atleast 2 years from then. This year they lived up to their promise and launched the second generation of Z series smartphones with exactly the same dimensions as the first generation devices.

Following the devices, Motorola has now launched 3 brand new mods to support them.

Moto TurboPower Pack Mod

The TurboPower Pack Mod comes with 3490 mAh battery and can be attached to a compatible Motorola smartphone to instantly add an extra day of battery life to it. It supports 15W fast charging so that you can juice up your smartphone quickly. It also has a battery indicator to show the amount of juice left. The battery also has fast charging capability which could top up the level up to 50% in a mere 20 minutes.

Moto JBL SoundBoost 2 Mod

If you found yourself short of volume or you if you want to add more firepower to your inbuilt speaker Motorola has got you covered. Basically a speaker, this mod also rocks in a 1000 mAh battery to power up the speaker on its own without needing to drain the phone’s battery.

The Mod is splashproof and weighs 135 grams. Motorola says it has a battery life of 10 hours and charges at the rate of 1A/5W. Moreover, the SoundBoost 2 also comes with a kick-back stand so that you can have a better video watching experience.

Moto GamePad Mod

Both of the above said mods are kind of iterations of their first-generation predecessors. But this one is a new attempt from Motorola. A Gamepad meant and built exclusively for hardcore gamers.

The GamePad Mod comes with dual control sticks, D-pad, and four action buttons. The GamePad Mod also comes with a 1035 mAh battery which can offer up to 8 hours of gameplay, and, it can be charged via USB Type-C port. This Gamepad also offers you one of the most valuable features that even some smartphones don’t offer. A 3.5 mm jack (No pun😉) for an immersive audio experience.

The Moto TurboPower Pack Mod is priced at ₹5999, and, the JBL SoundBoost 2 Mod and GamePad Mod are priced at ₹6,999 each and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from December 17th.
