Motorola One Gets Android 10 Update

The Motorola One smartphone was launched during the IFA 2018 event and it was also rebranded as Moto P30 Play. Well, the company is now started to roll out the latest version of the Android operating system – Android 10 for the device which is now 2 years old.

Motorola is rolling out the latest update in Brazil and it is expected that the same will available in all regions very soon. Along with the latest software update, the company is also bringing the February 2020 security patch for the device as well. Having said that, the Android 10 update will also bring all the exciting features of the latest Android version for the Motorola One units and that includes the system-wide dark mode, gesture controls, location permissions, and more.

The smartphone brand is rolling out the update via OTA and if users of Brazil didn’t receive any notifications then check for the update manually via heading to the settings app of the smartphone.

Specifications of Motorola One

It sports 5.99-inch HD+ Max Vision display along with 19:9 aspect ratio and has 1520 x 720 pixels resolution, the smartphone also features a notch on the top of the display. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa core Snapdragon 625 processor and paired with 4 GB RAM, along with Adreno 506 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphones have 64 GB of internal storage and can be expandable via microSD card.

Moving to the photography department, the Motorola One has a dual camera setup at back and that’s in the combination of 13 megapixel + 2 megapixel with Portrait Mode and LED flash, along with an 8 megapixel front camera. Moreover, the device has a Google Lens. That said, the smartphone has a curved glass back and it also supports the fingerprint scanner.

Regarding the connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. The device boots on Android Oreo 8.1 and it can be upgradable to Android 9.0. Finally, the device ships on 3,000 mAh battery with TurboCharging that offers 6 hours of power with just 20 minutes of charging.
