Motorola the sub-brand of the Chinese electronics giant Lenovo is started to tease a new smartphone and the same will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It seems that the upcoming smartphone could be the Moto G100 and the same will be the rebranded version of the Moto Edge S smartphone which was introduced in the early days of this year.
The German arm of Motorola has shared the teaser video of the upcoming smartphone and it also confirms that the device will support a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with the USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm headphone jack and there will be a flat display along with a glossy finish.

Specifications of Motorola Edge S
The latest smartphone of the company features a 6.7 inch full HD+ display with 2520 X 1080 pixels resolution along with a dual punch-hole setup at the top left corner of the screen. It is also coming with a 90Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ rating. As I mentioned above, Motorola has introduced the smartphone with the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile chipset, and the same is paired with the 6/8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device is coming with 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage.

The smartphone is also coming with dual front facing camera and that is in the combination of a 16 megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra wide sensor. Motorola also features its own digital assistant called moto AI and the device is also coming with a desktop mode, object recognition, and a split-screen feature.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 5G, audio jack, USB-C port, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-frequency GPS. Motorola Edge S has 5000mAh battery at 20W. It also has an IP52 rating. The latest smartphone boots on a new user interface called MY UI and the same is based on Android 11.
